Number of Saudi Women in the Labor Market Grew by 64 Percent in 2020

A new study reported the private sector in Saudi Arabia is hiring females two times faster than the public sector. Between 2019 and 2020, Saudi women in the job market increased by 64 percent, as the region went through many social reforms, specifically for the female population.

In December 2020, the employment rate of Saudi women was 33 percent, while in late 2019, it was at 20 percent.
