Dr. Ismail started the Dr. Ismail Polyclinic in Karama in 1984 and it quickly became a familiar name for people in Dubai from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal. Dr. Ismail said a few doctors in his hospital have been granted this special UAE visa as well. All four of Dr. Ismail’s sons have followed in his footsteps and become doctors.

Dr. Ismail’s oldest son has a Doctor of Medicine in Gastroenterology. His second son works at the polyclinic as an endodontist. The third son works at Kanachur Medical College in Karnataka, and the youngest recently completed his MBBS.
Dr. Ismail’s son-in-law works at the Royal Wing of Rashid Hospital. Dr. Ismail has a day surgical center in Karama and six polyclinics all around Dubai. He has served people of over 80 nationalities, which he considers a personal achievement.
